Disaster Area Clean-Up
We are assembling crews to remove dead limbs and trees to help rehabilitate these areas and bring them back to life!
???? What will volunteers do? Volunteers will be working hands-on with chainsaws and wood chippers, removing dead trees and limbs, and ensuring the safe disposal of the wood debris. This is a crucial step in the revitalization of these areas, ensuring they are safer and healthier for all.
???? When? This project is ongoing and will be available periodically for the next few months. Volunteers can join for a single day or multiple days, depending on availability.
???? Who can volunteer? Anyone who is physically able to carry branches and operate basic equipment is welcome! If you own a chainsaw, please bring it along – it will be a great help!
???? Requirements:
- Physical ability to carry branches and operate equipment.
- Experience with chainsaws and wood chippers is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Own a chainsaw? Great! Please bring it along.
- Safety gear will be provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it.
